Electrocardiography is a way of learning about the size, shape, and health of a pets' heart by examining the electrical impulses which travel across the hearts' surface.  Reading an electrocardiogram is as much art as science, and requires patience, skill and time.  At the Court Street Animal Hospital we use this test to diagnose heart disease, and to monitor stability and anesthetic depth during surgery.
