Our Grand Opening and Family Fair was held on Saturday May 21st from 12 noon to 3:30 PM.  We had a microchip clinic, face painting, snacks, a teddy bear clinic, hospital tours, lots of educational activities, games, prizes and storytelling. We thank all the folks who showed up despite the nasty weather. A special thank you to Sheriff Joseph McDonald and Special Sheriff Chris Coppage for their attendance in support of "Vest-A-Dog" and to Janet Depathy of Under My Wings pet sitting, Greyhound Pets of America, Friends of Plymouth Pound, and the Standish Humane Society for joining us.

We raised over $250 for the Vest-a-Dog foundation, which buys bulletproof vests for police dogs.  Bulletproof vests have saved the lives of hundreds of hardworking service dogs, but are not furnished by the government.
