Dr. Jessamyn Kennedy

Dr. Jessamyn Kennedy graduated from Tufts Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine in 2008, and went on to complete an equine internship with Ohio State University. She has had many adventures in veterinary medicine practicing with horses, farm animals, dogs and cats- even exotics, like lizards, snakes and birds! Dr. Kennedy is very passionate about wellness care, particularly in looking at food as medicine- the way we affect our pet’s body chemistry every single day. She is especially interested in GI diseases and feline medicine. Even before veterinary school, Dr. Kennedy believed in the wonderful cooperation of both “conventional” and “alternative” medicine in order to have a full tool bag, creating may options for the best treatment of every pet. She is a long time practitioner of Trigger Point Myotherapy, and a proponent of multi-modal pain control.

Dr. Kennedy lives with her cats, Pan, Annie, and Grumbalina. In her spare time, she spends a lot of time in the woods and on the water. She is an avid trail runner, wild crafter (using fruits and herbs found in nature), and loves to knit, crochet and sew.
